Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Abdulmahdi received in his official office Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gaooshoglu, Who handed over to his sovereignty a message from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan included an official invitation to visit Turkey.

"The month of Shaaban began in most countries of the Islamic world on Sunday, April 7, 2019, and therefore most countries will investigate the crescent of the month of Ramadan 1440 AH on Sunday, May 5," the director of the center, Mohamed Odeh, said in a statement today.
"On that day, the crescent can be seen from the Islamic countries with the naked eye or using the telescope in the case of atmospheric clarity. Therefore, Monday (May 6th) is expected to be the first day of Ramadan in most countries of the world."
